The Bernard Lindenbaum Historical Paper Award
Every year, the best papers of the Annual Forum and Technology Display in each discipline are selected by the VFS Technical Committees. The Bernard L. Lindenbaum Award is given to the Best Historical Paper among the papers presented in the History Session at the Forum.
The Vertical Flight Society has been presenting this prestigious Historical Best Paper since 2007. This award was established for furthering the international efforts to enhance the interest and reach of the history of vertical flight for today's and future generations.
